Passengers insurance

The Bek Air airline suggests to purchase the necessary insurance policy for the period of flight.
All passengers of the international and domestic flights who are citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan can be the insured persons.
To your attention we offer two types of insurance.

"Basic Protection" package for flight

Voluntary comprehensive insurance of passengers of "IC" "Centras Insurance" JSC provides:

  1. Flight accident insurance

The insured event is the damage to the life and health of the Insured Person as a result of an accident, namely:

  • fracture, closed craniocerebral injury, dislocation;
  • bite of poisonous insects and animals;
  • skin burn and inhalation burn;
  • frostbite;
  • shocks of miscellaneous etiology;
  • establishment of I, II, III disability groups;
  • death as a result of an accident.

The term of the insurance coverage starts not earlier than 3 hours before the time of departure indicated in the air ticket and is valid all the way, including the transfer points (not more than 6 hours), and terminates after 3 hours after the time of arrival of the Insured Person to the final destination airport, but not later than the expiry date of the Insurance Contract.

The Insurance Contract shall be applied to the:

  • territory of the passenger's route to the departure airport (from the destination airport);
  • airport's territory before departure and after arrival;
  • aircraft's territory.

The insurance coverage amounts to 1,000,000 tenge.

When the event is recognized as an insured event, the Insurer shall pay an insurance premium in the following amount:

  • at fracture, closed craniocerebral injury, dislocation - 10% of the insurance coverage;
  • at bite of poisonous insects and animals - 5% of the insurance coverage;
  • at skin burn of the 2nd degree with the damage to 9% of the total surface area of the body, as well as at burn of the 3rd or 4th degree, inhalation burn of the 1st-3rd degrees - 7% of the insurance coverage;
  • at frostbite of the 2nd degree with the damage to 9% of the total surface area of the body, 3rd or 4th degree - 5% of the insurance coverage;
  • at shock (traumatic, hypovolemic, developed as a result of acute blood loss, anaphylactic) - 5% of the insurance coverage;
  • at the establishment of the I disability group - 100% of the insurance coverage;
  • at the establishment of the II disability group - 70% of the insurance coverage;
  • at the establishment of the III disability group - 30% of the insurance coverage;
  • at death - 100% of the insurance coverage.

To receive the insurance premium, the following documents shall be attached:

  • an insurance policy;
  • an identification document of the Insured Person;
  • an accident report (document) compiled by a transport organization, or the documents provided by the forensic investigation or other authorities (if available);
  • the medical documents confirming medical assistance rendered to the Insured Person with indication of the time of receipt of medical assistance;
  • in case of disability - a duly executed disability certificate;
  • in case of death of the Insured Person - a notarized copy of the death certificate and the original copies or notarized copies of the documents confirming the Beneficiary's right to receive the insurance premium.
  • an insurance policy;
  • an identification document of the Insured Person;
  • a boarding pass with a registration mark;
  • the receipts and bills paid by the Insured Person for food and accommodation for the time period corresponding to the period from the beginning of the flight delay to the actual departure.
  1. Luggage loss insurance

The insured event is the documented confirmation of the registered luggage loss of the Insured Person by the carrier that has occurred during the insurance coverage.

The insurance coverage begins with the moment of acceptance of the Insured Person's luggage by the air carrier and is valid until the luggage is delivered to the Insured Person. It covers transportation according to the route specified in the insurance contract and the corresponding reservation number assigned when buying the ticket.

The insurance coverage amounts to 100,000 tenge.

The Insurer shall pay to the Insured Person a compensation of damage from the luggage loss in the amount of (5,000 tenge) per each kilogram of luggage weight.

To receive the insurance premium, the following documents shall be attached:

  • an insurance policy;
  • an identification document of the Insured Person;
  • a copy of the travel document (boarding pass) with the receipt counterfoils on luggage acceptance;
  • an original copy of the luggage loss report (document) compiled by the air carrier.

 

"Advanced Protection" package for flight

Voluntary comprehensive insurance of passengers of "IC" "Centras Insurance" JSC provides:

  1. Flight accident insurance

The insured event is the damage to the life and health of the Insured Person as a result of an accident, namely:

  1. Extra expense insurance at the flight delay

The insured event is the occurrence of extra expenses of the Insured Person during the validity period of the Insurance Contract as a result of a flight delay for more than two hours for the following reasons:

  • adverse weather conditions;
  • requirements of the state bodies (immigration service, anti-terrorism department, customs service, border control, etc.);
  • mechanical or technical damage to the aircraft or other circumstances caused by the airline.

The insurance coverage starts to be valid from the departure time indicated in the air ticket and is valid until the actual departure time of the Insured Person.

The insurance coverage shall be applied to all flights specified in the air ticket, with the appropriate reservation number.

The insurance coverage amounts to 150,000 tenge.

In case of an insured event, the Insurer shall compensate the documented amount of actual damage, but not more than the amount of the insured coverage.

To receive the insurance premium, the following documents shall be attached:

  • an insurance policy;
  • an identification document of the Insured Person;
  • a boarding pass with a registration mark;
  • the receipts and bills paid by the Insured Person for food and accommodation for the time period corresponding to the period from the beginning of the flight delay to the actual departure.
  1. Cancellation insurance

The insured event is the occurrence of expenses of the Insured Person during the validity period of the Insurance Contract in the amount of the cost of travel document due to the cancellation for the following reasons:

  • a sudden illness or an accident that has occurred before the beginning of the trip with the Insured Person or his/her relatives (spouse), who have requested treatment in the hospital (and if the Insured Person's discharge from the hospital has taken place before the trip - which has caused medical contraindications to travel) provided that the need for inpatient treatment has arisen not earlier than ten calendar days before the departure date;
  • damage to the real property owned by the Insured Person due to a natural disaster, fire, explosion, water damage resulting from a water, sewage, heating or fire safety accident, water intrusion from neighboring premises, illegal actions of third parties, which are documented, provided that such damage objectively prevents the Insured Person from making a trip and has arisen not earlier than ten calendar days before the departure date.
  • visa non-receipt by the Insured Person in case of timely submission of documents after the insurance contract conclusion.

The insurance coverage starts to be valid with the commencement of the Insurance Contract and continues until the beginning of passenger transportation.

The insurance coverage shall be applied only to a travel ticket purchased at the corresponding reservation number assigned when buying a ticket.

The insurance coverage amounts to 200,000 tenge.

The Insurer shall compensate the expenses in the amount of the ticket cost, but not more than the amount of the insurance coverage.

If the carrier returned part of the ticket cost to the Insured Person, the Insurer shall pay the difference between the actual cost paid by the Insured Person and the amount of the airline company's compensation.

To receive the insurance premium, the following documents shall be attached:

  • an insurance policy;
  • an identification document of the Insured Person;
  • a travel ticket (copy);
  • if it is impossible to travel due to an acute illness or injury to the Insured Person - an extract from the medical record (in case of inpatient treatment) certified by the signature and seal of the head physician of the prevention and treatment facility (PTF); an extract from the medical record with the opinion of the clinical and expert commission or the medical commission (attending physician and head) of the PTF certified by the seal of the PTF that the trip planned is contraindicated to the Insured Person during the specified period of time with the indication of terms and reasons certified by the signature and seal of the chief doctor of the PTF;
  • if it is impossible to travel due to the need to care for the close relatives of the Insured Person - a copy of the work incapacity certificate certified by the employer and the opinion of the clinical and expert commission or the medical commission (attending physician and head) of the PTF certified by the seal of the PTF on how long the relative of the Insured Person needs the unqualified care, as well as the documents confirming the related relationship of the Insured Person with the sick person; in case of loss or damage to the immovable property owned by the Insured Person: the certificates from the internal affairs agencies, the Ministry of Emergency Measures (MEM), the fire supervision or operational and emergency services, confirming the fact, time and place of the event occurrence.
  1. Luggage loss insurance

The insured event is the documented confirmation of the registered luggage loss of the Insured Person by the carrier that has occurred during the insurance coverage.

The insurance coverage begins with the moment of acceptance of the Insured Person's luggage by the air carrier and is valid until the luggage is delivered to the Insured Person. It covers transportation according to the route specified in the insurance contract and the corresponding reservation number assigned when buying the ticket.

The insurance coverage amounts to 100,000 tenge.

The Insurer shall pay to the Insured Person a compensation of damage from the luggage loss in the amount of 15 US dollars (5,000 tenge) per each kilogram of luggage weight.

To receive the insurance premium, the following documents shall be attached:

  • an insurance policy;
  • an identification document of the Insured Person;
  • a copy of the travel document (boarding pass) with the receipt counterfoils on luggage acceptance;
  • an original copy of the luggage loss report (document) compiled by the air carrier.
